Publishing industry expands international presence at major book fairs

The international publishing sector is preparing for several major upcoming events. SBS Edizioni will participate in the Frankfurter Buchmesse from October 7 to 11, 2026, showcasing 16 titles from its catalog. The publisher will use the event to host the absolute preview of Marijana Dokoza’s novel, ‘Sua moglie’, ahead of its official Italian release on November 23, 2026.

Simultaneously, the Bologna Children’s Book Fair (BCBF) has launched its ‘Grand Tour’ for the 2026/27 season. Supported by Agenzia ICE, the initiative aims to promote transmedia content and international relations. This includes participation in Brand Licensing Europe in London from October 6 to 8 to strengthen the Bologna Licensing Trade Fair/Kids. These efforts serve as preparation for the 64th edition of the Bologna Children’s Book Fair, scheduled for April 5 to 8, 2027.
