Puck Bay search underway for missing windsurfer

Search operations are underway in Puck Bay for a man in his mid-30s who went missing while windsurfing near Chałupy. The individual reportedly rented windsurfing equipment on Tuesday afternoon and failed to return to shore.

Emergency services, including the Maritime Search and Rescue (SAR), the Volunteer Water Rescue Service (WOPR), and the Border Guard, are conducting the search. A Polish Navy helicopter from the Gdynia base has also been deployed to assist with aerial surveillance. While the man's windsurfing board has been located on the water, his current location remains unknown. Authorities have indicated that search efforts will continue as conditions allow.
