PUCMM inaugurates Flavio Darío Espinal Hued courtroom in Santiago
The Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) has inaugurated the Flavio Darío Espinal Hued courtroom-classroom at its Santiago campus. The new facility is dedicated to the memory of the law faculty's first dean.
Located on the second floor of the Padre Arroyo building, the space is equipped with interactive screens, integrated sound systems, and videoconferencing cameras. These resources are intended to support simulated hearings, legal debates, academic competitions, and continuous training activities for law students.
During the inauguration, PUCMM Rector Secilio Espinal emphasized the importance of practical facilities to complement theoretical legal education. Mercedes Carmen Capellán, president of the Madre y Maestra Foundation, noted that the modern, technologically equipped area aims to strengthen legal teaching.
