PUCP implements virtual classes due to BTS concerts

The Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) has announced a transition to virtual classes for its main campus on October 7 and 9. This decision was made due to expected traffic congestion and road closures surrounding the Estadio San Marcos, where the South Korean group BTS is scheduled to perform.

Academic activities will proceed normally during the morning hours on both days. However, starting at 1:00 p.m., classes will be held virtually, though specific academic units may determine certain exceptions. Administrative staff will also be subject to remote work arrangements starting at 1:00 p.m., depending on the requirements of their respective departments.

These measures apply specifically to the campus on Avenida Universitaria. Other university locations, including Centrum PUCP, NOS, and Chorrillos, will remain open and unaffected by these changes.
