Puebla approves 2027 budget for ASE and Congress Technical Unit

The Control, Oversight, and Evaluation Commission of the Auditoría Superior del Estado (ASE) of the Puebla State Congress has approved budget proposals for the 2027 fiscal year. The approved resources will be submitted to the Junta de Gobierno y Coordinación Política (Jugocopo) for final processing.

The budget plan includes a restructuring of funds: the Congress Technical Unit is set to receive an increase to enable new operational positions, including three sub-directorates and three administrative areas. Conversely, the ASE is projected to see a budget reduction of approximately one million pesos compared to previous periods.

In conjunction with these fiscal adjustments, the ASE has announced the integration process for its 2027 Register of Authorized External Auditors. The institution stated that the call for participants aims to ensure transparency, legality, and impartiality in the selection of external auditors, emphasizing that the process is subject to strict technical and legal requirements.
