Puebla begins construction of three cable car stations
The Government of Puebla has officially commenced construction on three stations—Parque Juárez, Parque Ecológico, and Amalucan—as part of a larger cable car system (Cablebús) project. The comprehensive system is designed to include nine stations across four lines, spanning 13 kilometers and utilizing 405 cabins to transport approximately 2,500 users per hour.
Governor Alejandro Armenta Mier emphasized that the project aims to modernize urban mobility, reduce travel times, and enhance safety, particularly for women and children. To ensure technical quality, a government delegation recently visited Switzerland and Austria to supervise the manufacturing of components at Doppelmayr Seilbahnen and Fatzer AG.
Initial supplies for line four are expected to arrive at the port of Veracruz between October 25 and October 31. The total investment for the infrastructure project is estimated to exceed 6.7 billion pesos.
