Puebla Chamber promotes new air routes as airport customs stay closed

Héctor Francisco Landero Camacho, president of the Cámara de Comercio de Puebla (CANACO), said the interior customs facility at Puebla’s Hermanos Serdán Airport remains non‑operational. The project is pending action by the Agencia Nacional de Aduanas de México (ANAM), leaving exporters to use other terminals such as AIFA or Mexico City’s airport.

CANACO simultaneously launched the “Puebla te Premia” program, offering discounts of 5‑30 % at participating hotels, restaurants, museums and other services for travelers arriving on twelve newly opened domestic and international routes. Destinations include Aguascalientes, Guanajuato, Los Ángeles, Houston and others, aiming to boost tourism spending and regional connectivity.
