Puebla Congress approves 2026 Luis Rivera Terrazas Award call

The Science, Humanities, Technology, and Innovation Commission of the Puebla State Congress has approved the project to issue the call for the 2026 “Luis Rivera Terrazas” State Science and Technology Award.

The award will be granted to individuals who have contributed to the development, strengthening, and advancement of science, technology, humanities, and innovation through research, teaching, or dissemination. The call is directed at higher education institutions, research organizations, and public, private, or social sector entities within the State of Puebla to nominate qualified scientists and technologists.

During the session, legislators emphasized the importance of establishing a methodology that recognizes top profiles while prioritizing gender parity in the selection process.
