Puebla Congress hosts Pink Power event to boost women entrepreneurship

The State Congress of Puebla organized a gathering called “Pink Power” aimed at strengthening female entrepreneurship. Federal deputy Maiella Gómez Maldonado and the president of the Congress’s Governing Board, Pável Gaspar Ramírez, highlighted successful women‑owned businesses and emphasized the need for digital commerce tools.

Participants included the Subsecretary of Employment and Inspection, Raquel Medel Valencia, who stressed the importance of staying ahead in technology, and representatives from TikTok, Mercado Libre and Meta who shared public‑policy perspectives. The event provided training in e‑commerce platforms and sales strategies to help women launch and grow their businesses, supporting economic independence and public‑sector empowerment initiatives.
