Puebla defeats Pachuca 3-2 in dramatic stoppage-time victory

Puebla secured a 3-2 victory against Pachuca at Estadio Hidalgo during the fourth matchday of the Apertura 2026 tournament.

Puebla took an early 2-0 lead through a goal by Emiliano Gómez in the 16th minute and a penalty converted by Kevin Velasco in the 33rd minute. Pachuca attempted a comeback led by Salomón Rondón, who scored a header in the 42nd minute and converted a penalty in the 63rd minute to equalize the match at 2-2.

However, Puebla clinched the win in stoppage time when Facundo Almada scored in the 90+3 minute. This result marks Pachuca's third consecutive defeat in the league, leaving the team with only three points in the current tournament.
