Puebla Deploys Agricultural Drones to Spray 60 Hectares of Sugarcane in Tepeojuma

Agricultural drones were used to spray pesticides over 60 hectares of sugarcane in the municipality of Tepeojuma, Puebla. The operation was carried out quickly in response to a request from local producers and is part of the "Security for the Field Puebla" strategy.

The initiative aligns with President Claudia Sheinbaum’s plan to modernise Mexican agriculture through science and technology and receives backing from Puebla Governor Alejandro Armenta Mier. Officials highlighted benefits such as precise input application, reduced labor time and improved crop health, aiming to boost food sovereignty and productivity in the region.
