Puebla drug bust operation detains two and seizes heroin-like substances

On 3 July 2026, the Fiscalía General del Estado de Puebla, together with the National Guard, the Army, and state police, carried out simultaneous raids on two commercial premises in Cuautlancingo. The operations resulted in the arrest of María Diana N. and Laurentina N., and the seizure of dozens of packages containing substances identified as heroin‑like paste, crystal‑like powder, and controlled medicines (Clobenzorex and methylphenidate), as well as cash and weighing equipment.

Investigators said the locations were used as fronts to conceal small‑scale drug distribution points. The seized evidence has been handed over to the public prosecutor for further investigation and possible links to broader trafficking networks in the region.
