Puebla government invests 30 million pesos in Sierra Nororiental

The Government of Puebla has allocated over 30 million pesos to support agricultural producers and community infrastructure in the Sierra Nororiental region, specifically targeting micro-region 31 and municipalities like Jonotla.

Agricultural initiatives include the delivery of more than 400 supports for field modernization and equipment, as well as assistance for over 200 livestock and aquaculture producers. The program also includes the distribution of 6,000 maguey pulquero plants to preserve regional traditions and support for over 300 women through the Rural Entrepreneur Woman Program.

Regarding community infrastructure, approximately 15.5 million pesos have been designated for 75 projects across 10 municipalities. These works, determined through community assemblies, focus on improving roads, streets, water networks, and public spaces. To ensure transparent administration, each project is led by a female representative serving as treasurer.
