Puebla Government Boosts Barley Productivity with Drones and Fertilizer Support

The Secretariat of Agriculture and Rural Development (SADR) in the state of Puebla met with barley producers in the municipality of Cuyoaco. Secretary Ana Laura Altamirano Pérez announced the provision of an agricultural drone and fertilizer packages to roughly 50 local farmers, aiming to increase field efficiency, reduce production costs and raise yields. The initiative is part of Governor Alejandro Armenta Mier’s strategy to make Puebla’s agriculture more competitive by supplying technology, technical assistance and financial support to farming families.

The program seeks to modernize barley cultivation, improve parcel productivity and strengthen the regional supply chain, reinforcing the state’s priority on agricultural development.
