Puebla government launches transparency microsite for Cable Transport System

The Government of Puebla has launched a dedicated microsite to provide transparency regarding the Cable Transport System (STC) project. The platform will host technical studies, permits, legal frameworks, and project progress, with updates provided on a weekly basis.

According to Cabinet Coordinator José Luis García Parra, the STC is a key component of the SIM Puebla Integrated Mobility System. The project features four lines and nine stations covering 14.58 kilometers and utilizing 94 towers. The system is designed to reduce travel times from 100 minutes to 44 minutes.

The network will integrate with the RUTA articulated bus system and the public bicycle network, allowing users to access all services using a single card with differentiated fares. The four planned lines will connect residential areas, recreational spaces, and economic hubs.
