Puebla Governor Alejandro Armenta Mier Announces Tourist Boulevard Linking Chignahuapan and Zacatlán

Governor Alejandro Armenta Mier of the Mexican state of Puebla announced a four‑lane gastronomic and tourist boulevard that will connect the two Magical Towns of Chignahuapan and Zacatlán, including a dedicated bike lane. The project is part of a broader development strategy aimed at boosting regional tourism and local economies.

During the same visit, Armenta delivered agricultural support to the micro‑region: seven tractors, three drones and 59 other implements, alongside packages worth millions of pesos. He highlighted past agricultural investment—1.63 trillion pesos in his first year, 1.7 trillion this year, with a target of 2 trillion pesos next year—and noted that fuel recoveries have enabled PEMEX assistance for road infrastructure.

Additional actions reported included the inauguration of the rehabilitated Ajolotes stadium, the planting of fruit trees, and announcements of forthcoming housing units and park improvements for the community.
