Puebla hosts 9th Job Fair with over 6,000 vacancies

The Mayor of Puebla, Pepe Chedraui, inaugurated the 9th Job Fair, an initiative featuring 60 companies offering more than 6,000 formal job vacancies. The event aims to connect job seekers with stable employment, with a specific focus on inclusive hiring for youth, people with disabilities, and senior citizens.

Salaries for the available positions range from 9,000 to 45,000 pesos. Opportunities span various sectors, including retail, hospitality, supermarkets, and government roles within the municipal, state, and National Guard forces.

The fair was organized through coordination between the municipal government, the Secretary of Economy and Tourism, DIF Puebla Capital, and the Municipal Youth Institute. Local business leaders, including the president of the Business Coordinating Council, recognized the collaboration between the public and private sectors in facilitating access to the labor market.
