Puebla hosts national meeting on child and adolescent protection

Puebla hosted the 32nd Ordinary Session of the Commission of Executive Secretariats for Integral Protection, bringing together representatives from all 32 Mexican states to coordinate strategies for the rights and well-being of children and adolescents.

The session, led by Silvia Lorena Villavicencio Ayala, executive secretary of the National System for the Integral Protection of Children and Adolescents (SIPINNA), focused on educational strategies, state SIPINNA development plans, and strengthening public policies. During the meeting, four adolescents shared perspectives on mental health, social media, and the right to be heard.

As part of the proceedings, the State Government and the State DIF System (SEDIF) presented progress from the Centro Poblano de Salud Mental Integral (CEPOSAMI). This center provides specialized psychological care and accompaniment for minors, addressing the need for sensitive emotional support services.
