Puebla implements agricultural strategy benefiting 76,000 producers

The Government of Puebla has implemented an agricultural strategy for 2026 that has benefited 76,558 producers across 135,561 hectares. The initiative focuses on increasing food production by nearly 2 million tons and reducing production costs by an estimated 2.04 billion pesos through mechanization and technical improvements.

Under the ‘Seguridad para el Campo’ program, the state's machinery park grew from 725 units in 2025 to 1,824 units in 2026, representing an accumulated investment of 478 million pesos. The operational infrastructure includes 220 agricultural machinery modules, 78 drones, four agricultural rovers, four cane lifters, and three threshers. These tools aim to advance toward ‘Agriculture 4.0’ by providing free access to specialized machinery for local farmers.
