Latin American Runs: Multiple Races Planned for Early August 2026

A series of running and off‑road events are scheduled for early August 2026 across Latin America. In Mexico, the Carrera Interamericana will take place on 11 October 2026 with 5 km, 10 km and 15 km categories, while the Picacho Trail Run in Aldama, Chihuahua, and the Carrera de la Tortilla in Santa María Coapan are set for 2 August. Chile hosts the seventh Desafío Guerreros obstacle race in Empedrado, drawing more than 400 athletes on 28 July. Turkey’s Maratón del Valle, certified by World Athletics, will run on 2 August in Yumbo, featuring 42 km, 21 km and 10 km races. Argentina announces a night edition of La Ciudad Corre on 10 October in Santiago del Estero and a Union de los Pueblos half‑marathon on 30 August linking 28 Julio and Dolavon.
