Puebla legislator proposes increased oversight of private schools

Deputy José Luis Figueroa Cortés has submitted a legislative proposal to the Secretariat of Public Education to strengthen oversight of private schools in Puebla. The proposal seeks to verify the authenticity and validity of faculty documentation. It also requests that the education department implement corrective measures or legal sanctions when irregularities are identified, while adhering to due process and data protection regulations. Figueroa Cortés noted that increased supervision is essential to provide families with certainty regarding the quality of education their children receive.
