Puebla prosecutor indicts teenager for student's feminicide

The Puebla State Attorney General's Office (FGE) has obtained a formal indictment against a 17-year-old male, identified by the initials A. M. G. and nicknamed ‘El Zancudo’, for the feminicide of 15-year-old student Dariana N.

Investigations indicate the victim was lured to an abandoned building on October 5, 2026. The suspect allegedly used physical force and a knife to inflict severe injuries. Forensic reports determined the cause of death was facial trauma, traumatic brain injury, and asphyxiation by strangulation.

A specialized juvenile justice judge has ordered preventive detention for the suspect and set a one-and-a-half-month period to complete the complementary investigation.
