Puebla prosecutors secure indictments against two men for crimes against minors

The State Attorney General's Office of Puebla has secured the indictment of two men, Antonio Everardo N. and Tomás N., in separate investigations involving crimes against minors.

Antonio Everardo N., 40, faces charges of illegal deprivation of liberty and equivalent rape involving an 11-year-old girl. Investigations suggest he deceived the minor and transported her to various locations, including outside the state. A judge has ordered mandatory pretrial detention for him, with a five-month period set for complementary investigations ending February 4, 2027.

In a separate case, Tomás N., 26, has been indicted for equivalent rape against a 12-year-old girl. The investigation was initiated following a report of the minor's disappearance; after she was located, evidence was gathered to support the judicial mandate. The court has also imposed mandatory pretrial detention on Tomás N., with a three-month investigation period concluding on December 4, 2026.
