Puebla SEP receives 8.8 million free textbooks for 2026-2027 cycle

The National Commission of Free Textbooks (CONALITEG) has delivered 8,813,447 free textbooks to the Puebla Secretariat of Public Education (SEP) for the 2026-2027 school year. These materials are intended for basic education students and will be distributed across 10,336 public and private schools.

To facilitate distribution, logistics will be supported by six regional warehouses located in Tepeaca, Tehuacán, Libres, Chignahuapan, Izúcar de Matamoros, and Puebla. These hubs will organize material packages for shipment to 31 micro-regions managed by the Educational Development Coordinations (CORDE).

As part of a national mental health strategy for youth, the school cycle will also include “ABC de las Emociones” guides for students, teachers, and parents. Additionally, 12,921 posters regarding emotional changes, behavior, and emotional self-control will be provided to support student and family well-being.
