Puebla sets October 15 deadline for military service card registration

The municipal government of Puebla has announced that October 15 is the deadline to begin the application process for the National Military Service Card (Cartilla del Servicio Militar Nacional). The call is specifically directed at young people born in 2008 and those who are late applicants (remisos) residing within the municipality.

Mayor Pepe Chedraui urged eligible residents to complete this civic duty within the established timeframe. To begin the process, interested individuals must register online via the official Puebla City Council portal, complete the required form, and print a registration slip.

Following the online registration, applicants must visit the Department of Enrollment for National Military Service, located at 4 Poniente number 148, first floor, in the Historic Center. Required documentation includes the registration slip with an appointment, birth certificate, CURP, proof of address, and specific photographs.
