Puebla to host international Jumping World Cup Qualifier

Puebla will host the Jumping World Cup Qualifier CS14, an international equestrian show jumping competition held at the Club Hípico Quintas Ecuestres. The event is scheduled to take place over two periods: from September 23 to 27 and from September 30 to October 4.

Approximately 350 riders and 600 horses are expected to participate, with competitors representing 13 countries, including the United States, Guatemala, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Denmark, Argentina, Uruguay, Colombia, Brazil, Chile, and the Dominican Republic. This competition serves as a qualifier for the World Cup final, which is set to be held in Gothenburg, Sweden, in April 2027. Puebla represents the second of seven North American qualifying dates.

Local authorities expect the event to generate an economic impact exceeding 90 million pesos, benefiting local tourism, gastronomy, and various service providers. The competition will feature categories ranging from 90 cm to 1.60 cm, aiming to increase the professionalization of the sport in the region.
