Puebla to host second edition of Adopta Fest 2026

The second edition of Adopta Fest 2026 is scheduled for September 13, from 10:00 to 15:00, at the Ecoparque Metropolitano in Puebla. Organized by Convenciones y Parques, the State DIF Animal Welfare Directorate, and the Movimiento Animalista de Puebla, the event aims to promote responsible pet adoption and animal welfare.

Between eight and ten animal rescue foundations will participate, presenting various animals looking for new homes. The event will also offer free veterinary services, including 200 vaccinations for dogs and cats, general clinical reviews, and official pet registration. Educational talks regarding responsible pet ownership and integral care will also be provided.

Prospective adopters must be at least 24 years old, present official identification (INE) and proof of residence, and provide visual evidence of the animal's intended living space. Additionally, any existing pets in the household must be sterilized. The event will also feature a donation center for food and voluntary contributions, as well as a mass Latin dance class.
