Pueblo Andino firefighters acquire new rapid response unit

The Volunteer Firefighters of Pueblo Andino have added a new first-response unit to improve emergency service speeds. The vehicle is a 2015 Toyota Hilux equipped with a 400-liter water tank and a high-pressure pump.

Joaquín Cabrera, head of the active corps, stated that the vehicle was transferred from the Bialet Massé station in Córdoba province. The unit is intended to serve as a rapid response vehicle, allowing the department to handle smaller emergencies without deploying larger, more heavy-duty vehicles, thereby preserving the availability of the rest of the fleet.
