Puella Magi Madoka Magica announces collaborations with Kyoto artisans and ANNA SUI

The anime franchise ‘Puella Magi Madoka Magica’ is launching several high-profile collaborations. For the Kyoto International Manga Anime Fair 2026, the series will partner with three long-standing Kyoto companies to release limited-edition goods featuring characters Madoka Kaname and Homura Akemi in traditional attire.

Collaborations include themed ‘nama yatsuhashi’ sweets from Shogoin Yatsuhashi Sohonten, specialized oil-blotting paper from the century-old manufacturer Kamiiya, and large-format ‘furoshiki’ wrapping cloths from Miyai. These items will be available in limited quantities during the event in September 2026.

Additionally, the franchise is collaborating with fashion brand ANNA SUI for a special collection. The line features butterfly and rose motifs integrated with the series' iconic colors and items, such as Soul Gems and Dark Orbs. The collection includes accessories like wallets, bags, necklaces, and umbrellas, which will be available for order via the Marui Web Channel starting September 19.
