Puente Inc. launches mathematical music generation service

Puente Inc. has launched ‘Minimal Music Maker’, a web-based application that automatically generates minimal music using mathematical algorithms rather than generative AI. The service utilizes Conway’s Game of Life to compose melodies across four independent parts and employs Euler’s Identity to create rhythmic cycles and smooth transitions.

Users can generate and play music immediately without registration, with options to save up to 30 patterns for free. The service offers over 18 different timbres, including piano, harp, and various synthesizers, and allows for customization of BPM, volume, and groove. Generated tracks can be shared via URL and are available for commercial use.

To celebrate the release, a live YouTube broadcast titled ‘Mellow | Minimal Music Maker LIVE – 4 Universes #01’ is scheduled for September 5, 2026. The event will feature the LoFi/Chill vocalist Mellow performing alongside the real-time generative sounds produced by the service.
