Puerto Antioquia receives its largest container ship to date

Puerto Antioquia, located in the Urabá region of Antioquia, has achieved a significant operational milestone with the arrival of the CMA CGM DIGNITY. This Neo-Panamax container ship is the largest vessel to enter the terminal to date.

The vessel measures approximately 366 meters in length and has a capacity of nearly 14,800 TEUs. During its docking, the terminal performed 211 container movements using two dock cranes, achieving a productivity rate of roughly 26 movements per hour per crane.

The arrival of the ship facilitates the movement of goods from Asia and Colombian products destined for international markets. Having commenced operations in February 2026, Puerto Antioquia is positioning itself as a strategic hub for Colombian maritime trade and logistics competitiveness.
