Puerto Aventuras bar targeted in Molotov cocktail attack

An armed group launched an attack using incendiary devices against the bar "El Paraíso" in Puerto Aventuras during the early hours of a Sunday. According to initial reports, some attackers entered the establishment and used Molotov cocktails to start a fire, while others threw similar devices at two private vehicles parked nearby.

Emergency services, including the Secretaría de Seguridad Ciudadana and local firefighters, responded to the scene and managed to contain the flames before the structure was consumed. The damage to the vehicles was reported as minor. One person was treated by paramedics for contusions at the scene but did not require hospitalization.

Authorities recovered spent shell casings in the area, though there has been no official confirmation of gunfire during the incident.
