Puerto de Concepción del Uruguay exports non-GMO soy to Denmark

The Port of Concepción del Uruguay has completed a shipment of 18,510 tons of non-genetically modified (NoGMO) soybean meal to Denmark. The operation was carried out via the vessel Windermere despite recent rainfall.

The export involved a collaboration between the Asociación de Cooperativas Argentinas (ACA), Entre Ríos Crushing, and the Danish cooperative DLG Group. According to Marcos Di Giuseppe, President of the Port of Concepción del Uruguay, this product is part of a provincial government plan to diversify cargo types.

The shipment meets international RTRS and GMP+ certifications required by the European market, emphasizing traceability and sustainability. This marks the second such operation from this port, with another similar shipment scheduled for September. Currently, this port serves as the only Argentine export line for NoGMO soy to European markets under these specific quality standards.
