Puerto del Carmen owners arrested for operating closed establishment

The owners of an establishment allegedly used for prostitution in Puerto del Carmen have been arrested after the business reportedly continued to operate clandestinely despite a judicial closure order issued in April.

During a recent operation involving approximately a dozen Guardia Civil agents and six vehicles, the premises on Togio Street were once again sealed with official seals. The intervention follows ongoing concerns from local residents regarding the activity at the site. The case is now pending judicial proceedings in Arrecife to determine the circumstances of the breach and the responsibilities of those involved.
