Police in Misiones are investigating an alleged sexual abuse incident involving a 77-year-old taxi driver and a minor in Puerto Iguazú. The incident occurred on Saturday afternoon in the '600 Hectáreas' area near the Yriapú community.

A 29-year-old teacher reported the event after noticing a grey Toyota Corolla parked on a trail while jogging with his partner. The witness stated he initially saw a girl exit the vehicle with her clothing disarranged before she quickly re-entered the car. Upon returning to the vehicle to investigate, the witness opened the rear door and found the man and the minor in a compromising situation. The witness recorded part of the encounter on his mobile phone.

According to the report, the suspect attempted to justify his actions by claiming the minor had requested the interaction and that they were 'giving each other affection.' The witness fled the scene due to fear of aggression. The formal complaint was filed on Monday at the Women's Police Station of Regional Unit V. While the driver has been identified, authorities have indicated that he has not been detained and no arrest warrant has been issued as of the latest reports.
