Residents continue to face challenges regarding potable water supply, sanitation, and the lack of a sewage system in areas such as Pachaquiaro.

Mayor Pedro Velandia has acknowledged the difficulties in guaranteeing water services and stated that the administration is analyzing the installation of water purification plants.
