Puerto Madryn expands tourism with shipwreck tours and MICE segment
Puerto Madryn is expanding its tourism offerings through maritime history tours and specialized business travel segments. The municipality is organizing a shipwreck tour on August 15, featuring underwater archaeology expert Guillermo Gutiérrez. The tour aims to highlight the city's maritime heritage by visiting seven shipwrecks, including the Goleta Colomba.
Additionally, the Madryn Bureau is targeting the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) segment. The strategy focuses on promoting year-round tourism, particularly during the months of April, May, and June. The proposal combines event infrastructure with nature-based activities such as trekking, mountain biking, 4x4 excursions, and snorkeling with sea lions to provide comprehensive experiences for incentive travel groups.
