Puerto Madryn launches resident survey for sustainable tourism plan

The Municipality of Puerto Madryn, through its Secretariat of Tourism, has launched a survey inviting local residents to share their perceptions of the city's tourism activity. This initiative is part of the ‘Horizonte Madryn’ Sustainable Tourism Strategic Plan, developed in collaboration with the Mixed Tourism Promotion Entity, the provincial government, and the technical team from Estudio Singerman & Makón.

The survey aims to gather community input on how tourism affects the city and what residents envision for its future. The strategic plan seeks to consolidate urban growth, create job opportunities, promote inclusion, and improve the quality of life for citizens. Key objectives include developing infrastructure and services, attracting new investments, and redefining destination promotion to adapt to changing travel habits and economic contexts. A central goal is to build a model that reduces dependency on traditional high seasons.
