Puerto Montt job fair offers 1,200 employment opportunities

A job fair held in Puerto Montt provided 1,200 employment opportunities to the local community. The event, which saw 2,300 participants, featured 44 companies and six public services offering various roles.

Available positions included sales executives, security guards, drivers, electromechanical technicians, maintenance personnel, and plant operators, as well as internships for students. The initiative aimed to facilitate direct contact between job seekers and employers while providing information on training and public employment programs. Mauricio Toro Rojas, regional director of SENCE Los Lagos, emphasized the importance of connecting people with available opportunities to strengthen labor intermediation.
