The professional boxing event ‘La Dinastía Continúa’ took place at the Zetina Gasca sports dome in Puerto Morelos, featuring boxers from Quintana Roo, Yucatán, Veracruz, and Mexico City.

Local athletes participated in several matches, including Rodrigo ‘Bicho’ Arredondo against Jesús ‘Gato’ Pedro Moo from Mérida. Another notable bout featured Puerto Morelos’s Luis Antonio ‘Duro May Jr.’ May, who defeated Miguel Alejandro Uicab Dzib of Tizimín by unanimous decision.

Municipal President Blanca Merari Tziu Muñoz attended the event to express her administration's support for local sports. She emphasized the importance of creating opportunities for young athletes to develop their skills, discipline, and competitive experience through professional platforms.
