Puerto Nuevo Art Market Opens at Museo de Puerto Nuevo in Rosarito

On Saturday, August 1 2026, the Museo de Puerto Nuevo in Playas de Rosarito, Baja California, will host the Puerto Nuevo Art Market. The event runs from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and offers a platform for regional creators to exhibit and sell plastic‑art pieces directly to the public. Visitors, local residents and tourists can walk the exhibition halls, meet artists and purchase original works.

Municipal president Rocío Adame Muñoz highlighted that the market “strengthens the cultural identity of Playas de Rosarito, creates spaces for artistic expression and contributes to the municipality’s economic and tourism development.” The market is organized jointly by the municipal Secretariat of Culture and the Instituto Municipal de Arte y Cultura (IMAC), which have temporarily converted the museum into a sales gallery to foster direct dialogue between artists and buyers.
