Martiniano Leguizamón Museum library reopens in Entre Ríos
The Library and Reading Room of the Martiniano Leguizamón Historical Museum in Entre Ríos has officially reopened to the public. The facility, located in the museum's basement, underwent significant renovations to address long-standing issues with humidity and leaks.
The restoration work, executed by Doph Constructora, included waterproofing the roof, replacing drainage pipes, and applying waterproof plaster to the walls. The space houses a substantial collection, including over 10,000 volumes, a newspaper archive with more than 2,000 historical titles, a map library, and various musical and documentary funds.
Julián Stoppello, the Secretary of Culture for Entre Ríos, emphasized that the recovery of this space is vital for preserving provincial heritage and ensuring citizen access to historical and cultural assets. The library is open to students, researchers, and the general public from Tuesday to Friday, during morning and afternoon sessions.
