Puerto Quequén continues community outreach via Puerto Ciudad program

The Consorcio de Gestión de Puerto Quequén is continuing its institutional agenda through the ‘Puerto Ciudad’ program, which focuses on strengthening ties between the port and the communities of Necochea and Quequén.

Recent activities conducted between September 15 and 18 included health screenings for over 400 children and adolescents in locations such as La Dulce, Juan N. Fernández, and the Necochea Football League. The program also implemented initiatives in education, environmental conservation through tree planting, and inclusive art projects, such as the ‘Mural de la Inclusión’ at Escollera Sur.

Despite recent rumors regarding potential leadership changes within the Consortium, Mariano Carrillo remains at the helm, and the organization reports no formal changes to its management. The port continues to support professional training, sports development, and local infrastructure projects as part of its territorial integration strategy.
