Puerto Quequén presents local literary works in Necochea
The Puerto Quequén Management Consortium presented two new works by local authors at the Necochea Cultural Center as part of the ‘Puerto Ciudad: Experiencias que dejan huellas’ program. The initiative aims to strengthen the connection between the maritime station and the local community while promoting regional identity.
The first work, ‘Mariano Necochea. Gran Mariscal Sudamericano’ by Juan Pablo Borrelli, is a comic book designed to highlight the historical significance of the figure for whom the city is named. The second work, ‘Kem Kem’ by Mariel Farías, is a collection of poetic prose exploring the Quequén River and regional mestizaje. Farías intended the book to serve as a pedagogical tool for teaching local geography, history, and culture in classrooms.
