Puerto Real resident wins 500,000 euros in ONCE lottery

A resident of Puerto Real, Spain, has won 500,000 euros after playing the ‘Rasca X20’ scratch card from ONCE. The winner discovered the maximum prize amount while visiting a local establishment for coffee.

Francisco Aurelio Linares, an ONCE vendor since 2019, witnessed the moment the winner scratched the ticket. Linares noted that the winner left their coffee on the table after discovering the windfall. The ‘Rasca X20’ is a game costing five euros that offers instant prizes up to 500,000 euros, featuring multipliers such as x2, x5, x10, or x20.

Linares, who has a disability, shared that working for ONCE provided him with employment opportunities after he struggled to find work as a trained electrician.
