Puerto Rican singer Bryant Myers arrested in Florida

Puerto Rican trap artist Bryant Myers, born Bryan Robert Rohena Pérez, was arrested in DeSoto County, Florida, following a high-speed police pursuit. Authorities report that Myers was driving a black Ford Expedition at speeds reaching 113 mph (approximately 182 km/h) in zones with limits between 45 and 60 mph.

The DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office stated that the driver failed to pull over despite police attempting to intercept the vehicle. Upon stopping, officers discovered marijuana and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle. Myers faces four charges, including a felony for fleeing and evading law enforcement, two misdemeanors for possession of marijuana (less than 20 grams), and one misdemeanor for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Following his arrest, Myers posted on social media regarding his release. While some reports indicated he remained in custody, local media noted he posted a $6,150 bond and was released later that afternoon. He subsequently traveled to Tampa for a scheduled performance.
