Puerto Vallarta issues call for new Municipal Comptroller

The municipal government of Puerto Vallarta has issued an official call to select a new Municipal Comptroller. This decision follows the formal resignation of René Alonso Madero Chávez and the legal inability to ratify Alejandro García López, who did not meet all statutory eligibility requirements for the position.

Under the administration of Mayor Luis Munguía González, the new selection process requires candidates to possess a professional degree and license, preferably in law, accounting, or public administration. Applicants must also demonstrate at least two years of professional experience and must not have previously managed municipal finances.
