Puerto Vallarta prepares for September 16 Independence Day parade

Puerto Vallarta is preparing for the traditional civic-military parade scheduled for the morning of September 16 to commemorate the 216th anniversary of Mexico’s Independence.

Personnel from the Twelfth Naval Zone have begun rehearsals and training exercises. A recent demonstration at the Puerto Mágico facilities showcased naval formations, procedures, and search-and-location exercises involving canine teams. The Mexican Navy has invited residents and tourists to observe the upcoming parade.

Additionally, the Puerto Vallarta Municipal Government has called for participation from public and private schools across all educational levels, as well as various civil and cultural organizations, to join the municipal commemorations.
