Puerto Vallarta residents demand urgent traffic signaling
Residents and pedestrians in Puerto Vallarta are calling for urgent traffic signaling at the intersection of Avenida México and Montessori Street. The lack of adequate road markings and signs has created a high risk of vehicular accidents and pedestrian injuries.
Local citizens have requested that the Municipal Department of Roads and Transit install ‘Stop’ signs and implement a ‘one-and-one’ traffic flow system. They noted that high vehicle speeds and poor visibility make it difficult for pedestrians to cross safely, particularly during peak hours. Residents are urging the Infrastructure and Roads department to conduct a mobility study and install necessary vertical signage to improve safety in the area.
