Puerto Yeruá launches protected reserve plan to boost ecotourism
A joint initiative involving the San Isidro tourist complex, the environmental NGO CEYDAS and the Municipality of Puerto Yeruá was presented at the Complejo San Isidro. The project aims to create a municipal natural reserve that protects the gallery forest along the Uruguay River, its biodiversity, geological, historic and cultural assets.
The reserve is intended to foster sustainable tourism, combining environmental conservation with new economic opportunities for the local community. The presentation is open to the public, with a registration form provided for those wishing to attend.
